warning in advance: I'm a little cranky today.
every day I get an email with the word of the day from Merriam-Websters and I have to say that today's word is downright pointless. the word is prothalamion which means "a song in celebration of a marriage." while I don't believe that songs in celebration of marriage are pointless, I believe that this word is pointless because when will I ever use it?
come on, m-w.com. don't you know that I only really like the words I can use to subtly insult the people and situations around me? geez.
